Extra Credit - Time Depends on How Long You Talk! If you really want to step on PAWS, take a few minutes and phone Congress. Start with your own senators and representatives, and if you want to do more, call the members of the Ag Committee. You'll talk to a staff person, but they keep a tally of phone calls opposing and supporting legislation. Some of them will be interested in what you have to say; others will just want a quick "I support" or "I oppose." Be respectful. Some of these staffers have a great deal of influence on the senator.
